M-56 Individual Equipment Belt, Vertical Weave, size Medium. Also referred to as a pistol belt. The vertical weave belts were specified in 1961 and began production in 1962. They overlapped production with the horizontal weave belts which were made through 1965. The Medium belt is marked for under a 36" waist, but will fit up to about a 38" waist.
